I need some help if anyone knows, My 87 egt usually runs fine but sometimes it will run good at startup and pretty well half way across town. and then when i stop and hit the clutch it will idle down real low (like 900-100rpm) and usually the car runs at around 1800 I don´t know why it does this. It seems to be nothing to do with spark plugs or wires cause I changed those 2 weeks ago. any suggestions would be great.

Might check your T.P.S. Throttle Position Sensor. Take it to a repair shop and see if they can hook up to their computer code reader.
