No.. I don't run that fast wearing my speedo.. but almost 8O

I'm wondering; Can I simply bolt a 120mph speedometer from a 2nd gen GT into my 2nd gen LX dash? I'm sure the dash housings are the same, but will the speed signal/cable mount up, and will I get an accurate reading?

Also, are these speedos electronic (wire signal) or mechanical (cable)?\

Thanks! :D

Well, it is a durango.. probably has half the aerodynamics of the galant and probably couldn't pass 110mph going downhill.

But yeah.. I know what you're talking about. I had people jump in my BMW all the time, take a look at the tach and say "Damn, this thing only goes 85?" I'd hafta inform them that in the early 80's even ferrari equipped it's cars with 85mph speedometers, due to legislation. We had an old subaru 1800 wagon with a 120mph speedo.. what a joke that was.. couldn't see above 90 if you tried.. but those same folks thought it was fast
