Has anyone gone that low? Are you going to run air bags or coil-overs? I'd like to see what one would look like that low, but unless it's raises, it would probably be unpractical. I lowered my GT 2" and got a great stance. I don't rub or scape, but with 4" low in front, the wheel might not turn like they used to. Let us in on some specifics.

coil overs minus the adjusting perches. i know i'd need to use the zx2 s/r struts if i wanted to keep the perches on to drop 3 inches but how well will they do at 4 inches with poly. bushings? will the bushings help minimize underbody scraping?

Your camber is going to be so messed up at that height. Why would you go that low anyway? Its going to scrape on any pothole or bump you hit.

i saw my friend drivin around in his 92 civic hatchback sittin bout 1/2 inch off the ground and said he's still on his first oil pan. his wheels do sit / \. he didn't tell me what type of shocks he's runnin tho. i'll just get coil overs and leave the perches on incase we get another snow storm during the winter to the point where we get ice chucks on the roads so i can raise it back up.

That's a three inch drop. And he probably used H&R or dropzone springs.

You lower it that far, it'll probably handle worse than stock. You're going to eff up your suspension geometry by epic proportions. I wouldn't lower one of these much more than 2" without getting some custom control arms made.

Ours is lowered about 2-2.5" and i don't think i'd go any lower from a performance standpoint.

I would not run no name coilovers. I read an article some time back about how the ones you buy on ebay leave specific parts out of the design and can actually fail while you drive.. A real, high quality, kit is gonna run you about $400. http://www.ground-control-store.com/pro ... I=31/CA=23

Mine was as low as that wagon, it handled just fine on some R1 Coilovers from Ebay.
