Hey guys, I tried searching, but i can''t find an answer to this question.

My buddy has a 1986 323 lx that the engine has died in. He is willing to trade me the springs and struts (H&Rs and tokicos) for some engine parts I have lying around, but I can't seem to find out whether they will fit. I know 90-94 proteges fit, but do the older ones fit?

The tokicos aren't the S/Rs...these ones are bright orange!...would this be a good set-up? Will it even fit?

You didn't say what you were trying to fit it to. What year, what model?

Also, the first gen Escort and the '86 323 were not compatible. The 2nd gen Escort and the 1st gen Protege have lots (most) suspension parts in common. I don't think that the '86 323 springs and struts would fit in anything but other 323s from that model line- and the 1st gen Mercury Tracer. I just happen to have one. If that poor little 'racer wasn't such a bucket, I'd be drooling right now!
