umm so can someone PM. what the deal is here?

Two things. Groups buys are VERY HARD. My group buy looks to be finally done with and went through after lots of arguing but it did go through.

One other note of caution. I'm not trying to piss on your fire dude but Money orders offer no protection to the customer. With Paypal, Credit cards etc you have some way of getting your money back if the people don't come through. With a money order there is no protection except smalls claims court. Again this doesn't mean no one should do it just letting you know ahead of time.

I hope you get this buy going. It would be pretty damn popular.

Hey Beaverboy. I'm a little lost, what is your reply all about? Is there some stuff that has been edited out?

Anyway, I think those look pretty cool. I may have to check my budget to see if I can afford them. I already have one fender that needs to be replaced and repainted. It might be worth it to get some better looking ones. (Don't anyone hold their breaths for me though.)

Hey Racing AZ, I'm glad you gave us a second chance. Trust me if I had a 2nd gen scort and $255 I'd be all over those fenders. As for anyone else out there who is worried about getting scammed, This guy doesn't live too far from me So I'll go and ruff him up if anything bad happens. J/K For real though, I have chatted with him through e-mail a few times. I might even be building an engine for him soon. If I had any doubts I wouldn't offer to help him out. He seems like an allright kid.

thanks pimp scort...

money orders and cashiers check to offer protection because you have a reciept and they are cashed in to a bank that means whoever cash's them has to produce id wich means the bank can always track them down.

this is a legit company and they arent trying to scam us. several people wanted to pay credit card and they wouldnt take it. Its not my company so its not really my decision, call them and ask them about it.

10 people shouldnt be hard to get at all... theres 9 people who said they were in on ERDT some of them are just taking forever and this is first come first serve.

so if you want in you have the opportunity.

GROUP BUY UPDATE

Hello,

This is my first post on here but I have been With ERDT for the last 2.5 years.....so don't even start any bs...

Anyways... RacingAZ/James blew his motor that he had been working on and has to drop out of the group buy. (it is all legit)

The group buy is still continuing on! Myself and a few others on eescortracing.com (mainly psylocke) are heading it up. I think we now need 4 or 5 people to join the group buy to make this work. Over at ERDT/ escortracing.com we have been having continued success with group buys. We just last month had Rod Millen Motorsports grill reproduced by RMM for us. Not a problem. Production has started on CF or fiberglass (whichever the buyer wanted) invader style hoods. (as seen at zxtuner.com on the zx2.)

Price : $225.00 (in advance)
Time : 4-5 weeks AFTER 10 sets are paid for
Fits : all 91-96 escorts
Quality : finished, bolts on, primer and ready for paint.

Shipping appears to be 55 up front or 75 FOB call them if you have any questions on the shipping, but it should be right arround what I just said.

It used to be that we needed 2-3 more people ....but people have backed out due to car probs or other reasons so we now need about 5 people. We have two new people we are checking to seeif they paid or not yet... If they have that would put us at 6 or seven paid.

Thanks
Michael

No offense dude, and now that i see them they don't look half bad, but I still don't want them.

I can't go to erdt anymore, so I can't see the thread you're talking about.

Good luck with your sales.

ps. are you sure the guys from erdt would want you to post their full names on another board? :?

They might care as to their names and email being posted on here....

I have a feeling that it was done though to help prove this was on the up and up.

These are going to be awesome bolt on replacement fenders with fully functional vents on the side of the fender. They will look 100 times better than say an "insert" vent on a fender....

Not saying all z3 fenders are that style. But this is definitely cheaper than spydar z3 fenders for 340.
Then spydar fenders need to be professionally installed as they aren't a dirrect bolt up, and theyhave no holes pre drilled. I don't even think they are ready for painting..

Now granted their might be other comps now...but spydar is the only one I know of.

Im not doubting yours Im just saying I like the way spydars looks better But if I did have the money I would rather buy these because I have heard spydars stuff sometimes isnt always straight( I didnt hear about there fenders just there hood scoops But the apple doesnt fall far from the tree if ya know what i mean)

The owner of the board has welcomed me to repost this so all of you guys dont miss out b/c of a few stupid peoples actions.
I'm not sure I'm taking to that statement. However, as I said before they look good. Are they lighter than stock fenders?

Not tryin to bust your chops, but exactly what are they functional for? Do they cool your brakes? Offer some place for a cold air intake to be stuck? (that would be truly unique)

It's a cool product, I'll give ya that, but I just can't justify THAT much money all at once on fenders. I hope your buy works out guys. Thanks for the re-opportunity.

As for the functionality I would believe ( I haven't tested this mind you) that the vents would cool the brakes....... Not by forcing air on them, but by induction. Theoretically the high pressure on the outside of the fender should pull air from the inside of the wheel well out. Thus causing the brakes to cool.

which would only be of use if you road race (not street race) or possibly for those of us in the west on long descents out of the mountains when your brakes get really hot.

Your brakes don't even get UP to temperature durring most autocrosses.

For me they would be very functional....if the theory works....

I have alot of windy downhill roads that I fly down on my way to school....

Anyway. If not for functionality...THEN FOR COOL!

If anyone is interested le me know.
