Ok I know im going to get flamed for this but i just have to ask. Has anyone ever swapped a 2nd gen over to a V8 and rear wheel drive? I once saw a hatchback focus with a 351W and rear wheel drive and it was awesome. If anyone has done it let me know what rear end and tranny were used? Let the flaming begin!!!

I would LOVE to make a RWD V8 2nd gen Escort GT!!! I was thinking do a 302 V8 though, lighter, higher RPM range, and MORE than enough kick for a light RWD escort

So my idea is if you wanna try it be the first I've ever heard of man! You'll hear of me doing it in about 10 years when I finally retire my 92 EGT and make it my weekend car!

There is a video on Youtube of a 302 swapped ZX2. Since the zx2 is almost structurally the same as a 2nd gen it can be done, but it will be quite the undertaking.

There's that guy running the yellow 2nd gen w/ a rwd BPT setup. If that can be done, V8 can be done. It's just a matter of sticking that shit in.
