Hey all, some of you might know me from the ERDT board, but anyway the point of this post is to inform those of you who don't know me that we are tryingto start a group buy on a front bumper for the 2nd gen. Why only the front? Because it is less money than a whole kit, it can be mixed to fit each persons taste, and this way it works for 4dr's and wagons...Anyway, check out the basic details at http://fodescrtgrpbuy.tripod.com/ and you can email me at at [email protected], i would put a poll on this post, but i prefer to collect the emails and release the info so that i can see who has voted and if they are genuinely serious... SO if you are serious check it out and please help, we need it...

2nd Gen Front Bumber Group buy

Hey, I sent you my request for information, you can either send it to my e-mail address, [email protected] or you can send it to me on here through a PM. Either way I would greatly appreciate it, and secondly, I just discovered that Extreme Dimensions is looking for a 2nd Gen escort to sponsor, I have sent them my information as well in hopes that they are serious about offering ground effects for our cars. I am still highly interested in the group buy, so please, as soon as possible let me know what's going on. Thanks.

I'm interested too, but it will depend on how quickly we have to pay for them.....getting married soon is great  ...but it hurts the budget  .
I've been looking for body kits (of any kind) for mine for a few months now with no success....until the day I found (drum roll please) FEOA!

Hey all sorry to have posted than ran, but something came up, BUT ANYWAY, the reason it says "not escort bumpers..." or what ever is because i didn't want somebody to think that this is exactly how the bumper looks...it won't be exact, it will be on an escort, and since no bumper has yet been made there is no actual pictures to show, you could photoshop something together...and as far as the time line goes, well that depends on all the FEOA & ERDT people, we still need a car to go inspect the place, and then a car to use as the model... And payment would come after that, It all is in your guys hands, well and ERDT.

I'd be willing to shell out a couple c-notes for a cossie replica type bumper:

The ones you have will kill your gas efficiency because they're all geared for intercooled setups and have huge coefficients of drag... I don't see why you would want to downgrade like that. The cossie has essentially the same venting as the stock bumper does, which is good, and it also has a very stylish wrap-around lip to boot. Perfect bumper in my eyes.

If you adopt this path, I will support you, if not... you can burn in hell :)

yeah I know. I wish Ford would import or build a car like that for the US. The svt focus is ok, but to me, I think the Cosworth would sell even better. (It looks better too)

/agreeWholeHeartedly

Adding weight to my nose for the sake of scooping up large amounts of air that has no place to go but underneath, is not my idea of an upgrade. This is all about style, and people are willing to throw their money at it without so much as a conceptual drawing. You could end up w/ the harelip nose on that integra 8O Whatever, do what you want with your own cash, but count me out.

Call in the Hoover.. someone has sand in his man-gina.

Calm down dood.. if you noticed the ":) Sorry.. I had to" after it, you would have realized that i was just giving you a hard time. Welcome to earth. There are a few different types of people. Some people are generally nice, but have a sarcastic streak. That's me. Let it go dood.. It's just an escort forum..

Hey I'm guessing for $295 it will be fiberglass, not poly, and that wont include shipping ?

Either way I'm still interested. More importantly I NEED something that is open in the front for my front mount intercooler. I also need the extra room so I can put a bigger radiator in the car to handle the higher boost levels.

To be honest R33 Skyline or Blitz would be Great, but Im a BuddyClub 92-95' Civic fan. I'm still working on getting one of those to fit.
