Well, to answer your question Glowboy, the Gravity from other universe´s ACTUALLY does have an affect on your weight problem.
See as the alternate universes alter direction, it causes a shift in the cosmic shift alternation, which is then translated on the trip between universes´s into an opposite force which is like gravity, but not quite.
This all theoretically makes sense, but since gravity travels in it´s own energy force, it still takes time, so the grav pull you may be incountering now maybe several minutes old.

;-)actually gravity is caused by a shift in space-time, according to einstein. Large masses bend space around themselves, so even though when you see planets orbit around something like a sun, even though it looks like they are traveling along a curved path, it´s actually a straight path because space bends.
