Sorry for what may seem like a double post. I accidentally replied to one of my older posts, but meant to start this new one. My 2001 4 door with 120,000+ miles has been surging, bucking and temporarily loosing power, which we thought was related to driving in the rain. In an effort to fix the problem, I've recently replaced the IAC, plug wires, plugs and fuel filter. It hasn't rained in quite a while, but the car did start to buck under acceleration at aout 50 MPH. The check engine light came on a day or two prior to that. It's throwing code P0715 (Input Turbine Speed Circuit Malfunction) and P0420 (Catalyst System Efficiency System Below Threshold). These codes are new, but the problem is not. The trans fluid could use replacement and I'm wondering if old fluid can cause any of this.

Would appreciate any and all advice.
