does any one know where i can get some pro parts for my 87 gt. like a cam, pistons, valves, ect. i was going to get the parts from bat inc but they no longer carry escort parts

As far as a cam goes, I think I saw three different cams in an old Crane cams catalog. I´m pretty sure it was Crane, might have been Comp but I know I saw them. the last time I checked their catalog they didn´t advertize them any more, but If you call them, I´m sure they probably still make them. As far as anything else goes, I think Manley had some valves, but again, don´t quote me on that either. Just keep you ears open and your nose in everyones business, and I´m sure you´ll find a few things. Let all of us other first Gen owners know whats up.

Pistons.. KB Silvolite makes the pistons BAt used to sell. Isky lists 5 cams for the 1.9. Piper sells CVH cams, and Wolverine/Blue Racer did have bout 6 of them, but they were bought out a while back.. cant remember who sells for them now. I have been thinking of supplying some stuff for the CVH... not on a big scale, but a made to order scale. I can make Intake manifolds, roller rockers, main stud girdle, rocker stud girdle, pulleys, adjustable cam gears, aluminum fly wheels, custom headers, or some other things. only problem is that since I custom make everything (read no mass production), I cant do it for cheap. Email me, and we can talk. Also in the next 3-6 months, I expect to be fully set up to do cylinder heads, including a full rebuild, porting, and flowbench testing.
