From what I gather I think you must mean heater core, and not A/C?

If your heater core is leaking it will most likely need replaced.

Sounds like your evap core might need some cleaning then. I had a 96 and the core was full of crap (literally).

You could try blasting compressed air in the drain, but that likely wont do much. If it is leaking, there is probably far more 'crap' in the way then a simple clog in the drain. To get it real clean you have to remove the core from the vehicle. However to do so, you have to discharge the A/C system (and invariably flush and recharge afterwords).

There is a drain on the A/C compressor, but venting it is against federal law, and will render the AC useless until properly flushed and recharged.

If you are comfortable servicing it yourself, you can get kits online that come complete with flush, oil, refrigerant, UV dye, and a gauge set. Then all you would need is a vacuum pump (check harbour freight) to hook up to an air compressor.

You would still need to find someone/take it somewhere to have the AC system discharged (recovery/recycler) in accordance with federal laws.

If all of this is sounding like a bit much, probably best to take it in and have it serviced. Just make sure you let them know the problem is that the evaporator core is leaking condensation into the vehicle.

Being that you live in FLA, and probably use the AC alot, its not a far fetch to think it might be a bit clogged up.
