Hi there!

I have an 1995 1.9lx Escort that i buy from my brother.

My problem Is he lost the remotes of alarm system so HE REMOVE THE MODULE FROM THE CAR...

Now i want to put a new generic one... The original cables and plugs are still there.

Do anyone know if there a generic module that is compatible with the old wiring to just plug and play?

Or anyone can give me a diagram for the original wiring?

Hi, i live in Chile... Here people steal all from cars, Even the wheel covers...

I don't recall ever seeing a factory security/alarm on a 95, at least in the US market.. can you post a picture of the connector and the location of it?

I bought My 95LX used, and it came with the remains of an aftermarket security system. It was a relay inserted into one of the thick black wires running to the ignition switch. I just soldered the wire ends together, since I wasnt worried about anyone stealing a car with peeling paint. The wire ran above the steering column, so was hard to reach.

Here the only thing I worry about being stolen would be the catalytic converter; which is not easy to reach from underneath the car.

I can pretty much guarantee that:

A- the unit is aftermarket
and
B- any other brand will use different connectors.

ya I was going to say, I don't think any 2g came with factory alarms. we were lucky to get crank windows lol.

my bad... i read the owner manual and theres no info about an alarm system... i confuse it with the anti-thef lock...

Anyway, do anyone know where i can find the wires that control the lock of the doors (open/close wires)? and what color they are...
