After 7 years under a tarp in the back yard and much talk of the project getting done the car is currently (8-9-2016) in the shop being converted. Thought I'd post the pictures on the forum for those who are interested. I have old pictures I've posted but this will consist of all newer stuff.

What are you going to do for knuckles seeing as you moved the rack, swap them left to right?

That's what we did but it doesn't work well with the location of the rack. Looks like I might need to have a custom spindle made.

What trans did you use and did you have to cut out the tunnel to get it to fit properly? What rear differential are you planning on using?

1994 Mazda Miata 5spd and very little of the tunnel...just the top to the back of the original shifter and just enough for the bell housing to fit. GTX rear subframe and drivetrain.

Not fun...like buildings a whole new car. Nothing is interchangeable from the Miata except the engine. Pinto race rack.
