Hello. Does anybody know what to do in case there are some old Ford Recalls?.
I have just found out that in 1993 there was a Safety Recall concerning the Ignition Switch in wich case the cylinder was modified or replaced. My ignition´s switch cylinder broke (so the key cannot be turned). Thank you. Happy new year.

Thenk you. I have ordered and should receiv it buy this week ( I live in Madrid, Spain and here only Mazda has most parts for it. Probably there are four or so units in Madrid. People still look at it after 11 years !!). As soon as I repair the car, I will take some pictures and post it here.

Thank You,

Mike

You know what´s weird? a couple months ago my starter started to grind. the throw out gear that meshed with the flywheel stuck after the car was started. and then one day...it just stopped. and it hasn´t done it since. weird huh? I thought for sure I´d have to replace it. But I guess it still had a few thousand more starts left in it

I had that same problem with the starter staying engaged after the car had started. Used to I´d hove to throw the car in gear, hold the bake and let out the clutch to get the thing to stop turning over. Now all I have to do is turn the key forward again and it will disengage.
