Mazda speeds lsd's are usually $600+ not including bearings and machine work.
What was the 319. One called?

It has to be a g series trans and 26 spine count
No to rx7 and the probe is a 28 spine. If u went with a probe g series 28 spine u will need kia BP axles

Clubprotege.com has a lot more info

I don't know if any are readily available for the Mazda gear carrier, but I have a lunch box locker (Richmond Powertrax) in one of my cars and it works great on the street. Not sure how a FWD would like a locker though. The price is certainly right with all things considered. Might give Richmond a call and ask them. Their tech support is very helpful.

And since it was brought up, I'm about to switch most of my stuff to Red Line MTL-90. However, the scorts are staying ATF. I'm positive I was the first person to change the fluid on our 93 @150k and 17 years old (was black as coal) and its still going strong at 225k 5 years later. Can't ask for more than that. The ATF is working fine.

    Not NHRA legal.

Does anyone make a spool for Escorts? I have to seriously doubt it.

As do I, just not in FWD. Gotta think that would get dicey in bad weather. Even a 4x4 spooled on both end is nearly impossible to drive on rain/ice.

No, personal experience myself. I recall them saying parking is challenging. but turns are fun.

I bet tire wear is exciting too, but if they're "spooled" the burnouts probably kill the tires fast anyhow.
