I just had the head rebuilt on my 95 LX. Its now on the engine, more or less. They say in the service manual that after you get the timing belt on, you should turn over the engine, and recheck the timing to make sure everything is still lined up. Well, as it rolls over, the timing belt walks out on the cam sproket. It makes it out til about a quarter of the belt width is stiking off. But, when I look straight down on things from above the belt, it appears to be running straight up and down, and the cam sproket is off to the side. (too far twards the drives side, I mean). Is this normal for these engines? Its making me crazy Any ideas would help.
thanks. Joey
