Ok, I won the bid on the above subject.
In a previous post I was told I have to use a feeze plug to close up the Distributor hole. Ok, Will the intake and the TB plug in? It comes with the wiring harness. Will the runners line up and can I use the older 1.9L GT headers? Is the piston type compatable? Please Let me know as I am having it shipped to me. If this doesn´t work I sell it for what I bought it for. email me for a picture of the items if you want. Thanks Guys. Erik

As far as the freeze plug goes, I´d look to see how the whole is bloked on your head now. You might already have a plug to swap into the new head. As far as the injectors go the HO used batch fire for the injectors and fired two at a time, since the gen 2 was sequential, you will have to use the 2nd gen injector harness. The TB isbackwards compared to the gen 2, so you will have to rig a mount for the throttle cable if you use the HO TB. I would recomend useing the HO TB because it is WAY bigger than the gen 2 TB. As far as the pistons go, I´m not too sure how they will work. I have read that the different head styles used different pistons, so you may run into clearance probs since the HO has bigger valves. And as far as the headerm I have read that they will fit, but with a bit of modifying since the gen 2 1.9 is tilted slightly forward to accomodate its lower hoodline. I don´t imagine it would be too hard to do though. But if the combo work together good, I think you will have a really good engine on your head. Since the gen 2 is sequential injection, you may actually have a little advantage over the gen 1s that came with the HO. Not to mention the distributorless ignition sysem also. The only wory I have is that the fuel and timing map on the gen 2 computer may hinder it a bit since it was meant to be a slug. But only one way to find out. Who knows, you may set the next gen 2 LX performance trend.
