I can't find anything about it. I blew up the 1.8 in the car and I may have access to a 1.6 turbo motor. Anyone heard of this being done this before?

What kind of 1.6? If it isn't a Mazda then it will be difficult.

IIRC there only 130hp stock.

Might as well just find another 1.8.

Then buy the 1.6t and put it in a festiva.

the b6t can put down near 180whp with teh stock vj14. its just a mater of getting an ECU upgrade that will not boost cut you. as for it fitting in an escort should be an issue. i have a B6 dohc in my garage that i plan to drop in when my bp blows up in my DD. at which point i will turbo charge it.
