Oh yeah, btw those are the same times that www.car-stats.com quotes for the 90 EGT and the 93 EGT. The difference between the two cars is negligable:

90 EGT: 108 hp 115 lb ft torque
91-96 EGT: 127 hp 114 lb ft torque.
Find a way to squeeze that 19 hp out and I´m sure you´d stay right with a 2nd gen GT.

There isn´t much of a difference but 2nd gens still beat ya out ;-)

You sure those torque numbers are right? I thought that the 1.8 had more like 107 ft lbs and the 1.9 was 120 or so?

yes I'm sure the torque specs are right for the 1.8. It has 114 ft lbs of torque @ 4500 rpm. 127 hp @ 6500 rpm. I owned a 1.8. I learned everything I could about it.

he 1.9 HO GT I believe got off of http://www.edmunds.com so If they aren't right, then I dunno. :wink:
