Transmission didn't hold its fluid. Rebuilt Jasper engine, mileage less then 60k. Front bumper is broke, but everything else is either fairly new or great shape. Looking for offers:: 49332 MI.
Been a while, hoped to fix this up and sell the car as a whole. Was looking at selling it $500-$800 range if I got it running but being a Michigan car, the rust out is making it more apparent it's too far gone. Most everything is still up for sale.
Hope to have this car gone by the end of summer.
Also, got a Pacesetter exhaust for the car as well, never installed. Originally got it for 80s Escort, Paeco said it would fit, mock up didn't clear starter.
Exactly what do you mean by Transmission didn't hold its fluid and from those pictures I don't see rust issues. Normally transmission leaks are easy enough to fix. Just curious.
If i remember correctly, it just needed to be resealed. Rotated the shaft through all the gears, all smooth. The underside of the door sills on both sides are gone, as well as upper part of the driver side wheel well. Would make for a great winter beater, I've just moved on to other projects and don't want to mess with it.
If the transmission cooler lines have been replaced, they might be sellable. They just got discontinued. If they have never been replaced I want to know how you managed to not rust them out.
