Non-greaseable ball joints

    I know! If I had a newer car I'd try to bypass that dubious feature so I could use a normal $2 key in it.

    That and a car that can still be fixed with the toolbox on board(as a traveling mechanic, a small box).

    LMAO, so true. That's why when my 95 LX went bad I replaced it in 2016 with another 95 LX. Same color, same options, even came off the line 8 days apart. I don't like change according to my wife...

    As for the ball joints, they're like 5$ at Rockauto.com. Pain to do, but no alignment needed afterward. Who cares? I never replaced the original ball joints in my first LX after 165k. It's not like you'll be doing it every year.
