So what's going on with the black escort? There was the thread in the pictures forum and the thing looked like it was gonna be a monster. Then, no more updates.

It's still sitting at my friends house. Adam just doesn't have any money to finish right now( he's in college and has no job) Since the scene has picked up he's looking to put the car back to the 339whp range just to be able to get some runs in with it. Hell with that power again we'd mop up just about everyone. He's not out the game but the funds are holding him back. Since you asked I'll post here and in WTB...does anyone have a GTX exhaust manifold for sale?
Kevin on the other hand has the same problem....no money/job so he keeps racing people with this tired old VJ20. He only needs a few parts to upgrade but with no funds he rides GTX style.....and loses
Still to this day I can't find an Escort GT here in Florida. When you do find them there beat to sh*t,91-92 and they want like $1000-$1500. All the nice ones I see the people don't want sell

I'll probably be looking to get rid of mine in a month or so once I get the T3 manifold welded up. When I do I'll let adam know if he hasn't already found one by then.

For sure.....good looking out. If he doesn't end up needing it I'll scoop it up cause we never know when we'll need one. Oh Adam did find me a 91-92 blue EGT but it's behind a fence at a church and we don't/can't seem to get hold of the owner.
