99 ford escort suddenly bad battery and the 100 amp fuse blown. Replaced battery and installed fuse I secured it with one bolt and when I put plastic cover over fuse box it blew again. Where should I start looking for a short ?
Do I really need to secure fuse with both bolts ?
Please advise; only transportation for grandson to go to school.
      Thanks.

Sir I have a question, what is, i suppose a sensor, connected at the bottom of the trans on our 1.9 gen2 escort
There are 2, 1 just next to the passenger side cv axle hole, which I broke the it off years ago trying to get the axle out
it doesn't report to the ODB2 as i never got a code for it
Id like to look at replacing it if feasible. Do you know the name or better yet a part number?
      Thank you
